The United States Constitution in 2010

How important is the United States Constitution to you?

Too many of us ignored the Bush/Cheney administration's total disregard for our Constitution. During his term in office, when he wasn't testing new bicycles, puppet Bush enabled his political baby sitter to ignore laws and create new ones without being challenged. In other words, they put themselves above the law they swore to uphold.

A year ago, on 13 July, 2009, on PBS's Bill Moyers' Journal, Constitutional scholar Bruce Fein asked, "What is the future of the Presidency?" Then, answering his own question, he said "If harm has been done to the presidency now and it is not challenged now", that attitude will be reason enough for future presidencies to usurp.

The Constitution is more important than any party or, any Congress. Impeachment does not create a constitutional crisis. Impeachment is a remedy for a consitutional crisis.

What do you want to do about it? What should we do about it?

Quite simply, the Congress needs to hear from you and me.
