Lynda Edwards on the TEA Party Goals
The Meet Up on the 23rd went very well, over 60 people attended, along with a few candidates or representatives of candidates.
We had a great discussion about the TEA Party goals, heard from and asked questions from the candidates and reminded everyone that Aug 12th we'll be having a Meet the Candidates Night with 5 candidates (so far).
Now the immediate next event is the 4th of July parade, which is being held on the 5th in Southampton. I need to know if you will march with us so please let me know yes or no.
The Suffolk 9-12 Project will be marching as part of the TEA Party, we hope to have 50-60 people from our East End TEA Party marching under our banner. We can park our cars at the Catholic church and meet at the Southampton Train station on Elm St. at 8:30, the parade begins at 10am.
Please support our cause as we fly the USA flag, patriotism and enthusiasm for our beloved country. This will be a great experience for all.
PLEASE, NO ANTI-OBAMA, NO ANTI-POLITICIAN POSTERS (according to agreement with parade organizers) ACCEPTABLE SIGNS: PRO LIBERTY, PRO FREEDOM, PRO CONSTITUTION, OF THE PEOPLE BY THE PEOPLE ALL OK!!!
WE ARE CELEBRATING OUR NATION AND THE SACRIFICE THAT OTHERS MADE TO SECURE OUR UNION and CONSTITUTION.
